Your website(s) must meet the following requirements before being allowed to join the webring. If you're not sure that your website qualifies, feel free to contact me and we'll discuss it.
Webring sites should:
- Belong to an EverQuest II signature graphic artist. The website can be public or private in nature, and it doesn't have to be EQ2-related. An artist can submit as many websites as they like to be a part of the webring, as long as they are willing and able to maintain the webring code on each website.
- Display the webring code on the main content page. It can be anywhere on the page, as long as it's visible and easily found by visitors so they can (continue to) navigate the webring.
Webring sites should not:
- Contain any pornographic content or other content of an expressly adult nature. This includes excessive foul language.
- Condone or depict illegal activities such as drug use.
- Express hatred toward any specific races, religions, cultures, or lifestyle choices.
- Contain threats of violence. This includes threats of bodily harm to any person or people, animals, property, homes, or establishments, public or private.
- Knowingly provide links to gold- or platinum-selling websites for EverQuest II or any other MMO. (If you use a banner / link ad service like Google Adsense, you should use your competitive ad filter to remove these links from your website.)
- Knowingly provide or provide links to cheats, hacks, or cracks for EverQuest II or any other PC or console game. (See above.)
I review each membership request personally and I WILL deny membership to websites that I feel are inappropriate.
If you feel that any of the current webring member sites violate these requirements, please report them and I'll immediately look into it.
